As 2018 begins to ramp up, so does the 2018 season of NASCAR Xfinity Racing. With 35 days to go until the first green flag signals the start of a race, Mike Harmon and his team, Mike Harmon Racing has announced their intent to renew their partnership with Heroes Media Group. Harmon has completed 17 seasons in the NASCAR Xfinity series, when combined with the 13 years Harmon has raced in the Camping World Truck series, Harmon has a total of 278 starts between the two series. The driver race both the Xfinity and Camping World series simultaneously and has done so for a total of 13 years. At 59 years old, Harmon shows no sign of slowing down.
Director of Heroes Media Group has expressed excitement over the renewed partnership stating, “We are looking forward to another great year with Mike Harmon and his team. We’re proud to be a part of it all, Mike is truly a standup guy and his character is one that sets the pace in the racing world.”
The first race of the series will be on Saturday, February 17 at 2:30 PM eastern time at Daytona International Speedway. The race will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1 and the Motor Racing Network. Heroes Media Group will release Harmon’s starting position after qualifications are complete before the start of the race.
