Rockets Clinch Playoff Spot with Win Over Pelicans

NEW ORLEANS — During a weekend that is dominated by the NCAA Tournament, there was a professional basketball game being played in New Orleans on Sunday night. Two teams on the opposite ends of the playoff picture squared off in the Smoothie King Arena. The Houston Rockets came to town needing just one more win to clinch a playoff appearance for the seventh year in a row. The home town Pelicans, on the other hand, were just hoping to stop a skid of seven losses in their last eight games.

With Anthony Davis in the starting lineup, Pelicans fans were optimistic that their team might be able to slow down MVP Candidate James Harden and the Rockets. Houston started off …

The Mueller Report submitted last Friday and the subsequent summary letter from Attorney General Barr gave the American public a few key answers to questions that some of us knew and some had contemplated, but which also completely blindsided many who had been getting all of their news from the likes of CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times and The Washington Post.

The front-page headline on the following Monday from the New York times, one of the most virulent anti-Trump newspapers for the past two years, did note that the Mueller report vindicated and exonerated President Trump.
