Amanda McGrory attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a dual sport athlete to play wheelchair basketball and race as a member of wheelchair racing team. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Library and Information Science. In addition to her collegiate studies, she has also centered her life around adaptive sport. With seven Paralympic medals and over 25 marathons already, Amanda McGrory is training for one final Paralympic Games in Tokyo. I’m delighted to interview her for the Spring 2020 issue of Challenge magazine.
