Emotional Regulation, this is an area where those with PTSD struggle a lot. Dealing with how to turn on, off, and exhibit our emotions properly is a large area of growth needed. The introduction of Trauma, and Traumatic injuries to the brain can cause the loss of the ability to regulate and or exhibit our emotions properly. For a lot of us we were never taught this skill set from the beginning. Now we have to not only learn it but put into practice when after the Trauma has occurred so there is no reference of how to get there from prior to our event. But none the less Emotional Regulation is an area we need to work on so our growth can continue to move in a positive direction.
