Three Tulane Basketball Players Announce That They Are Entering the Transfer Portal

It has been a rough 24 hours or so for the Tulane basketball program. Yesterday, within 20 minutes of each other, sophomore Caleb Daniels and freshman Connor Crabtree announced that they would be entering the NCAA transfer portal. The third blow came this afternoon when freshman Moses Wood also announced that he would be looking to transfer.

Many fans were optimistic that Tulane might escape this coaching change without any transfers. In his introductory press conference, new Head Coach Ron Hunter stated that there were players that wanted to transfer when he arrived who no longer did after meeting him.

The announcements leave Tulane with only six scholarship players committed to play for the Green Wave next season. None of …

Tulane Media Day Recap: Depth, Filling Lost Production and Defense

NEW ORLEANS, L.A. — After two weeks of preseason practice, Tulane Basketball held their annual Media Day at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse. Head Coach Mike Dunlevy took the podium to address members of the New Orleans media and answer questions. Tulane forward Samir Sehic and guard Caleb Daniels were also available to take questions after Coach Dunleavy’s time at the podium.

Tulane Media Day did not include an open practice for members of the New Orleans media, but there was still a lot for Tulane Head Coach Mike Dunleavy to talk about in regards to the previous and upcoming season.
