Michael A. Taylor’s Trip Home Sparks the Nats’ Bats in 9-5 Win

Michael A. Taylor was a bonafide superstar in the 2017 MLB Postseason for the Washington Nationals. He hit .333 with two home runs, eight runs driven in, and two walks for the Nats last October. After his performance, expectations were rightfully high for Taylor coming into the 2018 season.

Taylor started Opening Day in Centerfield and was expected to be a key cog for a Nationals team that was looking to finally make a deep postseason run. Unfortunately, however, the 2018 season is almost two months old and both Taylor and the Nationals have been struggling mightily.

Coming into Friday night’s series with the Miami Marlins, the division-favorite Nats sat in third-place in the NL East. Taylor was boasting a

Nationals Don’t Play Nice In The Desert!

PHOENIX, AZ- The Washington Nationals are one of the hottest teams in baseball at this time.  On the other side, the Arizona Diamondbacks are officially in a “slump” that they badly need to get out of.  Let’s recap:

Coming into this series, the Diamondbacks had tied the Dodgers in two series, they beat the defending champs in a 3-game series, and they also went on the road and took two of three games in D.C..  As a matter of fact, coming into this series against the Nationals, the Arizona Diamondbacks had not lost a single series this season.  But……

The Diamondbacks would strand a total of three runners in scoring position in both the 1st and 2nd …

Washington Nationals and Los Angeles Dodgers Recap

On a night when the Nationals acknowledged and celebrated the most dominant Air Force in all the World, the US Air Force, the Nats and Dodgers took the field in the third game of a three game series to claim their place as the most dominant team in the National League.  The Dodgers got much needed quality pitching performances from Alex Wood and Rich Hill, two starters slated to be a big part of the Dodgers playoff rotation plans. The Nationals on the other hand countered with Edwin Jackson and A.J. Cole, two pitchers who may not even make the playoff roster, depending on how things shake out.

You could say that this series doesn’t mean much considering the Nats
