ASU Men’s Hockey Wrap Up Final Home Stand Seeking Postseason Berth

Tempe, AZ. – Arizona State University’s (ASU) Men’s Hockey squad completed their final home stand seeking one of the 16 coveted postseason berths. Currently ranked No. 10, hopes are high that they’ll receive that invitation once the season is complete.

ASU captured their 21st and 22nd win of the season this past weekend at home in Tempe where ASU defeated University of Anchorage Alaska 5-0 and 5-2, respectively. Coyotes Shut Out In Home Opener; Still Scoreless On Season

GLENDALE, AZ- With a complete sell-out of over 17,000 fans, the Arizona Coyotes took to the ice in their home opener against the Anaheim Ducks.  Arizona came into their home opener after losing their first game of the season to the Dallas Stars on Thursday night, 3-0.

So the first thing that I was wondering heading into tonight’s matchup was who was going to score the first goal of the season for the Coyotes?  Unfortunately, that question went unanswered as they were shutout tonight by the final score of 1-0.
