In this week’s episode, Mark and Andrea focus on the ties that bind, meaning the relationships that make the world of veteran and first responder support happen.

Guests this week include Adam Bird of Heroes Media Group. Adam dabbles in several other major veteran-sponsored support causes and businesses. He and Mark will share the story of their first meeting, and how their friendship and business relationship has grown from there. Adam is a determined and serious supporter of those who want to help veterans and our #communityheroes.  Our musician for the evening is Tony Turner, and we have known and loved him for a long time. Tony will be sharing his debut single tonight, “Blackwater Shine”.

Mark shared how he and Andrea went to Adam when they were concerned about the word ‘Patriot’ carrying a not so positive connotation. This is why WE love this guy. He made is simply understood that he would not change a thing… carry the phrase with pride, Patriot Pride.

The People’s Patriot Project has some events coming up. They will be helping with security duty in Hastings on September 11 with the Rivertown LIVE event.  They will then travel to Georgia to support Adam and Matt with Feeding the Heroes, and spending time with Bobby Henline. Then in October they will host veteran and first responder musicians in the Twin Cities… they will play together on Friday night at a fundraising event for a local LEO whose house recently burned down and Saturday they will share their talents throughout the day with the Ruckers and Cornholers!

WE are all about making relationships and being the communication that others sometimes let slip by. Its about those who served, and we are here now to serve them. #communityheroes with Adam Bird of Heroes Media Group. And #BlackwaterShine thank you to Tony Turner for sharing!
