Candace Cable was inducted into the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee Hall of Fame in 2019. She has been an integral voice in the adaptive sports movement throughout her career. Candace was the first American woman to win medals in both the Summer and Winter Paralympic Games.

Candace Cable is a nine-time Paralympian who competed in three sports: track and field, alpine skiing and Nordic skiing. She won 12 medals, including eight gold and her athletic career includes 84 first-place finishes at various marathons around the world. She continues to be an advocate and leader for adaptive sports and disability rights today.
