Predicting The Arizona Cardinals 2019 NFL Draft 1st Round

The Arizona Cardinals are officially in rebuild mode.  Sure, they still have a couple pieces from the past hanging around in Larry Fitzgerald and Patrick Peterson.  But for the 2019 NFL Draft, they hold all the cards, or at least the most important one; the first overall pick.

There are four areas that the Arizona Cardinals MUST fulfill in this draft or in free agency.  They need to get another Cornerback to go on the other side and complement Peterson.  They also need to get another Wide Receiver to go along with Christian Kirk and Larry Fitzgerald, and eventually take Larry’s place.  They also need to sure up an offensive line that had five backups starting for most of last …

Top Destinations For LeVeon Bell In 2019

At this point, it’s all speculation, but it’s really fun to do?  After the Pittsburgh Steelers failed to sign LeVeon Bell to a long-term contract before the offseason deadline, he’ll more than likely be playing his last games this season as a Steeler under the Franchise Tag.  If Pittsburgh wants him back next year, they’ll have to seriously back up the Brinks truck for him, which they have already shown that they are not prepared to do, at least this year.  But before I go into where I believe he’ll be going, let’s cross off a few teams and crush a few fans dreams of having the best all-around running back in the game on their team.

After suffering a beatdown in week two, I decided to take an early bye-week for my “Locks of the Week.”  I recorded an abysmal three wins out of my seven projected locks and barely limped away without having to go on the IR.  But, after being labeled as “questionable” earlier in the week, I’ve now made a full recovery, and I’m coming back with a vengeance in week four by picking an astounding FOURTEEN games this weekend!

That’s right, I’m so hungry to get my win total up early in the season that I’m doubling my locks in this week!  I want there to be no question as to whether or not I’m back at 100% after the bye week.   …

JD’s Fantasy Football Mock Draft

Before I get into my mock draft, I just want to say a few things about Fantasy Football.  I’ve got a love/hate relationship with Fantasy Football.  I absolutely love it because it keeps me engaged with more than just one team for the entire season.  I have to actually think about the match-ups that are taking place on the field between the player I pick, and the defense that he will be going against.  And then I have to pick a defense based on who they are playing for the week.  There is a ton of actual strategy and skill that goes into drafting your team, and playing the right players at the most opportune times.  The downside to playing …
