Kyle Busch Sweeps The Desert

It’s getting to the point to where Kyle Busch should feel that he can come into ISM Raceway and win in any vehicle. It doesn’t matter if Kyle Busch is driving in the truck, in the Xfinity race, or in the Monster Energy Race. Kyle Busch has now won two in-a-row in the desert in the Monster Energy Series. He has not finished worse than 7th at ISM Raceway in his last eight races. He’s also finished inside the top ten in 12 of his last 15 starts.

There is also a bit of history that Kyle Busch is chasing as he entered the weekend at a total of 197 wins, only three wins behind “The King” Richard Petty for …

Kyle Busch Highlights Successful Grand Re-Opening of ISM Raceway

With over 170 Million Dollars in renovations to the previously named Phoenix International Raceway, ISM Raceway lived up to the hype that was building all summer long.  Personally, it was almost like waiting for Christmas morning as a kid when I couldn’t wait to unwrap my presents.

And ISM Raceway had quite a few presents under the tree on Veterans Day weekend.  As always, I wanted to start with the biggest present, which was the brand new, 24,000 square foot media center.  Replacing the former 6,000 square foot media center was a beautiful, well designed new building. Both analyst used their own personal standards to pick who goes where on their list.  Joel made his picks based on a number of factors, including top 10/top 5 finishes, DNF’s, and the upcoming schedule strengths.  Where as JD is more of a “what have you done for me lately” type of guy.

This list will …

Jimmy Johnson Wins In Fontana; NASCAR Recap

FONTANA, CA –Thank God for DVR!…Or whoever actually invented the DVR (I think Anthony Wood), but after a day of coaching football, it was great to sit back and watch an awesome race in Fontana! Jimmy Johnson would take the victory after battling Kevin Harvick in overtime.  Johnson, who started behind Harvick after the final caution, would push the #4 past Hamlin on the restart, and then take the inside and power his way past Harvick for the win in an exciting green-white-checkered finish!

Johnson, along with Dale Jr., would have their cars painted to promote the Batman V Superman movie that is coming out. While Batman (Dale Jr.) finished 11th, Superman (Johnson) would take the victory on the day. …
