Raiders Gamble For Win In New Orleans

On Sunday, September 11th, the Oakland Raiders took on the New Orleans Saints in New Orleans. Typically, entering someone else’s domain requires confidence to conquer – that’s exactly what the Raiders did! The defense got off to a quick start from Bruce Irvin’s strip sack, that ended up with rookie, Jihad Ward, recovering, resulting in 3 points. Most would say a touchdown would be considered a win in this situation, but in reality, converting turnovers to points is always a win. As the game continued, the Oakland defense was given a piece of what Drew Brees and company can really do with two young weapons — Willie Snead IV and Brandon Cooks.
